TIP #1

All WoWEbony lace wigs are coming with well pre-plucked hairline, so you can just try on the lace unit out of box to mark the hairline and take the unit off to put on the mannequin head before trimming the lace, trim the lace in zigzag way. This is highly recommend to lace wig beginners.
TIP #2
Wrap your own hair as flat as possible
Braid your natural hair into cornrows as flat as possible with a stocking cap over it. This will make the lace wig installed just like onto your scalp directly to avoid that bulky look and leave enough room for lace wigs to avoid stretching the lace too much .
TIP #3
Glueless is recommended & removing glue gently once taking off the unit is a must.
Girls love to use glue to get the flawless installation, but glue might mass the lace and hair strands if you do not remove the glue and keep the lace neat. Only use glue brand which have statements on how to remove it.
TIP #4
Detangle hair on lace wig from tip gently up ward to the root. Wide tooth combs is only recommended to be used for curly hair.
Tip #5
The washing ritual matters
Shampoo and condition it periodically to keep the hair in a healthy state. But how often you do so will actually depend on how often you wear it, versus an everyday schedule. The best rule of thumb is every 8 to 10 times you wear it you should gently shampoo with a good quality, sulfate free shampoo and hydrating conditioner . This is important as sulfates and other harsh chemicals found in many shampoos and conditions can destroy your wig over time.
Wash it always with cold or warm water, particularly for any colored wigs as the hot water can lead to color fading over time. Once you’ve washed and removed all conditioner, place it on a mannequin head( textured units are recommend to be put on a dry towal) and let it air dry. Since hair is more vulnerable to damage when it’s wet, air drying can help maintain the lifespan of your wig.
Tip #6
Store your lace wigs on mannequin heads in special section of your closet avoiding dust, direct sunshine. Make sure the humidity is around 30%, If you do not have that much mannequin heads or room in closet, you can put a soft paper wrapped into a head shape into the lace cap and put the unit into a satin bag just like what we the bag we sent to you with WoWEbony brand printed on.
One more thing you need to bear in mind that if you or your stylist chemically alters the human hair lace wigs through bleaching, coloring or perming them at home it will result in a decreased lifespan of the piece. All WowEbony lace wigs can last a year and up with proper care.
